ATLANTA — In what’s become a common occurrence recently, the Miami Hurricanes once again showed they have a hard time keeping up with college football’s elite programs.
In the season opener for both teams, UM was routed 44-13 by top-ranked Alabama on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, a loss that made Miami 1-7 in its last eight matchups against the nation’s top-ranked teams.
