HOUSTON — Tab Ramos will be making his debut as Houston Dynamo coach this weekend, but his history with MLS goes back 25 years as the league’s first-ever player.
Ramos played for La Liga club Real Betis and then Tigres UANL in Liga MX or a year before Major League Soccer got off the ground.
Ramos signed with the MetroStars (now the New York Red Bulls) on January 3, 1995. So much has changed since then.
“It makes me very proud of all the work that has been done because I think we worked very hard to be at this point,” Ramos said.
