Against the Opposition
In four all-time meetings against San Jose Earthquakes, the Lions hold an unbeaten record of 1-0-3 with two draws on the road and a draw and a victory at Exploria Stadium. That victory came last season when San Jose visited the City Beautiful, with the Lions earning a 3-2 win in the match. Chris Mueller scored the earliest goal in Club-history in the second minute of the game, a record that still stands. Sacha Kljestan and Dom Dwyer each found the back of the net on the afternoon to secure the win.
Close to Club History
With 36 goals conceded through 28 matches, the Lions remain on course to set a Club record for the least amount of goals conceded in a single-season.
