Santiago Patiño scored his second professional goal on Thursday in Portland, finding the back of the net in the 44th minute to give the Lions a 1-0 lead at the half. Patiño has now scored in two of the Lions’ last three league matches, having scored his first MLS goal in Philadelphia on July 6. With Patino’s finish, an Orlando native has found the back of the net in three consecutive MLS games for City, with Benji Michel scoring the game-winner against Columbus on July 21 and Patiño’s finish in Philadelphia two weeks ago.
