Jones football coach Elijah Williams lamented earlier this week that he wasn’t sure how his team was going to slow down the “Air Diso” passing attack of Lake Nona. He obviously figured it out.
Jones held Lake Nona to one late touchdown, while the Tigers offense put up 512 yards in rolling to a 49-10 victory at Lake Nona.
“We played a little better in the second half than we did the first game,” Williams said of the Tigers' opening victory over Bishop Moore 32-26, a game in which Jones led 32-6 before Bishop More scored 20 unanswered points.
