Orlando City officials confirmed striker Dom Dwyer will miss the club’s Friday match against Toronto FC.
Dwyer, who has six goals so far this season, did not travel with the team to Toronto. He is not listed in the latest MLS injury report, though he trained separately from the rest of the team most of this week. Club officials said Dwyer has a “lower-body injury.”
Dwyer’s return to Orlando City’s lineup sparked the club’s six-match win streak.
The Lions (6-3-1, 19 points) will also be without midfielder Yoshi Yotún due to yellow card accumulation.
Orlando City is coming off a 2-1 loss to rival Atlanta United.
