If the Miami Hurricanes are going to flip top quarterback recruiting target Jake Garcia, Thursday night’s developments may have put them halfway there.
The four-star signal caller from California, who played his high school senior season at Grayson High in Georgia, announced a decommitment from his longtime pledge to Southern Cal late Thursday night.
“After many discussions with my family and careful consideration, I am decommitting from USC,” Garcia wrote in a social media post on his Twitter and Instagram pages. “Doing so will allow me to honestly evaluate my options as the early signing date quickly approaches.
