Standout quarterback Braden Davis, who is 6-foot-5, 190 pounds and the No. 5 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the country for the Class of 2022, showed up at team workout Sunday and just like that, he put Lake Minneola at a whole new level.
“He’s by far the best quarterback I’ve ever been around in 22 years out here,” Banks said. “He can spin it, make all the throws. He’s very smart with a 3.5 GPA.”
Davis, whose father Antone Davis played at Tennessee and then spent seven seasons in the NFL with the Falcons and the Eagles, moved to Florida after Delaware decided to postpone the high school football season until the spring.
