ORLANDO, Fla. (September 17, 2016) - The opening of Orlando City SC’s new stadium continues to be one of the most highly-anticipated events in Club history. Today, the Club announced it has officially reached its 18,000 season ticket capacity and is sold out of individual season tickets for the Lions’ 2017 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
City’s custom built, soccer-specific stadium will open its doors in 2017 and will house 25,500 raucous purple-clad fans for the Lions third season in MLS and the Orlando Pride’s second season in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
“This should be an incredibly gratifying accomplishment for our fans because it means they have set a tone for a sold out crowd for every MLS match.
