Major League Soccer has posted an article saying that the Professional Referee Organization has claimed that Cyle Larin was offside when Joe Bendik punted the ball leading up to the controversial play that saw him brought down from behind, with a scissoring tackle, from Red Bull’s defender Karl Ouimette.
So in summation, the play where referee Hilario Grajeda didn’t call a foul on Ouimette, the last defender back, for denying Larin a breakaway from behind, using both legs, with studs showing (see photo), was justifiable because the assistant blew an offside calling leading up to the opportunity?
