Jared Kushner was asked in a cable news interview Thursday where the White House stood on the sudden shutdown of the NBA. His response was as condescending as it could be without answering the question.
“The NBA players are very fortunate that they have the financial position where they’re able to take a night off from work without having to have the consequences to themselves financially,” Kushner said on CNBC. “So they have that luxury, which is great.”
Kushner, a senior White House advisor and President Trump’s son-in-law, also said the NBA player movement has been just about “slogans.
