Somebody asked me the other day how upset Orlando Magic fans would be if forward Jonathan Isaac misses a crucial game this season because he is unvaccinated.
That said, I do believe the NBA has a real issue when important players on championship-caliber teams such as the Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors refuse to get vaccinated. I’m talking specifically about Nets star Kyrie Irving and Warriors small forward Andrew Wiggins, both of whom could miss more than half of their teams’ games if they remain unvaccinated.
Brooklyn and San Francisco have passed local ordinances that require those attending large indoor gatherings (like basketball games) to be fully vaccinated.
