Defending state champion Sanford Seminole continued to dominate its opposition as the Seminoles cruised to a 62-0 high school football win over Lyman on Friday night.
The Seminoles (3-0) tore off big play after big play in the first half. They amassed 241 rushing yards and 168 passing yards and took a 48-0 lead into the break. A running clock took effect in the second half due to the lopsided score.
“When you’re playing a game like this, you’re really just worried about execution and cleaning up things,” Seminole head coach Eric Lodge said. “It was good that we were able to get in a lot of our other guys.
