The Storm won its fourth WNBA championship in franchise history Tuesday night, after defeating the Las Vegas Aces, 92-59, at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The team joined the defunct Houston Comets and the Minnesota Lynx as teams with the most championships in league history. The Storm set a record for largest margin of victory in WNBA Finals history.
Breanna Stewart capped her return from her lost 2019 season, when she was sidelined for the year recovering from an ACL tear, by being named unanimous Finals MVP — her second to match her now two WNBA championships with the Storm.
