When sports talk-radio personality and former basketball coach Dan Dakich hits the airwaves, you can bet it will be uninhibited, unhinged and full-throttle opinion. The thing about Dakich, however, is that his opinion carries weight. It’s not without forethought and not without experience, and he can draw on more than 20 years of coaching, much of that time as an assistant to the legendary Bobby Knight at Indiana. He also played for Knight and the Hoosiers (1981-85).
There are no other ways about it, and that’s how Dakich wants it because, yes, he has his opinion, but he knows so does everyone else.
