Alanna Kennedy, Christine Nairn and Dani Weatherholt will all be seeing postseason action as both Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory secured a spot in the Finals after a 2-2 draw on Sunday. Kennedy opened scoring on the day in the 35th minute, firing home a rebound before paying tribute to countryman Awer Mabil on her celebration. Mabil, a member of Australia’s men’s national team, recently lost his sister in a car accident. The two sides then exchanged goals for the remainder of the match, splitting the points after 90 minutes.
