Orlando goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris, who was injured in the second half of the Pride’s 2-0 victory over the Seattle Reign, trained with the team Monday.
Harris was injured in the 81st minute when a Seattle player collided with her. While Harris did not leave the field, she was unable to stand for several minutes and played more conservatively during the final portion of the match.
“She’s fine, she’s just a bit sore today,” Pride coach Tom Sermanni said Monday. “I was just pleased that she got up and she played on.”
The Pride have been fortunate to avoid injuries early in the season, giving Sermanni many options for the team’s starting lineup.
