Coach Marc Skinner will leave the Orlando Pride midway through the 2021 NWSL season to pursue a manager position at a different club.
Skinner will exit Orlando after nearly three seasons with the Pride, leaving the team reeling without its head coach after the most successful start to a season in club history.
The Pride will now face the remainder of the NWSL season under an interim coach, which has yet to be announced. Assistant Carl Green will coach the team for its next match on Saturday before departing with Skinner.
Orlando is nearly halfway through the season, sitting in the middle of the league table with a 4-3-4 record and 16 points.
