Fafa Picault is exchanging his Philadelphia Union blue for FC Dallas red.
The winger has been acquired by FC Dallas in exchange for $300,000 in general allocation money for 2020. The deal also includes a set of undisclosed performance metrics, which could bump up the Union’s compensation in the trade by another $75,000 of general allocation money for 2021.
Picault was out of contract after appearing in 32 regular season games for the Union in 2019, plus another two games during the postseason. He finished the year with four goals and four assists in the regular season, plus a goal and an assist during playoffs.
