Patrick Mahomes: Bucs beat us worse than I think I’ve been beaten in a long time

After the Tampa Bay Bucs scored their third touchdown of the first half during Super Bowl 55 Sunday, a bit of a skirmish, precipitated by Kansas City Chiefs Tyrann Mathieu, broke out.

The discipline the Chiefs had shown marching to last year’s Super Bowl title and 26 victories during the past two years was non-existent Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.

They dug themselves a big hole and Bucs quarterback Tom Brady buried them, knocking off the favored Chiefs 31-9 to win his seventh Super Bowl title and fifth Super Bowl MVP award.

“They played better than we did and that’s my responsibility,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said.
