As usual, we are less than a month away from early National Signing Day on Dec. 16 and some of the best players in the Orlando area are still looking for their first big-time college football scholarship offer.
Big-time means the Football Bowl Subdivision, which is comprised of 130 schools. Recruiters can’t tell me there is no place among all those schools for many of Central Florida’s best athletes.
One of the problems in the recruiting game, and it’s been this way for years, is recruiters apparently do not trust themselves. For some reason, many of them do not want to take the risk and be the first school to offer a player a scholarship.
