VERO BEACH — Bobby McMillian rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns and a fired up Vero Beach defense stifled Kissimmee Osceola in a 34-7 homefield win.
The Kowboys (5-2), ranked No. 5 in the Sentinel Super 16 Orlando-area rankings, were limited to less than 200 yards of total offense.
McMillan’s second touchdown of the game made it 20-7 midway through that quarter and Vero quarterback Jackson Narin put the game away with a 68-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Ferguson at the 3:36 mark of the third.
Narin finished the game 23 of 32 passing for 268 yards and two touchdowns.
