Every team that signed up for the state series, regardless of record, will be placed in one of the eight tournament classifications and into a region bracket via a blind draw.
The Florida High School Athletic Association is allowing maximum flexibility for a 2020 season still reeling from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. A major modification allows teams in all fall sports to opt out of state tournaments, which for football starts the week of Friday, Nov. 13.
