Every streak in sports come to an inevitable end. For the Orlando Pride, a magical unbeaten start to the season met its end on Saturday night in Houston as the team fell to the Dash 2-1.
The game closed a seven-game streak without a loss for the Pride’s best start to a season. Although Orlando came close to pulling off yet another comeback in the second half, a pair of first-half goals buried the team too early.
Despite the loss, the Pride (4-1-3, 15) remain the top-ranked team in NWSL, leading the North Carolina Courage by two points in the league table.
