The Orlando Pride’s Jordyn Listro and Erin McLeod were called up by the Canadian national team for a two-week camp ahead of the SheBelieves Cup, which will take place at Exploria Stadium in February.
The camp will allow the Canadian team to bring players out of season up to full speed after the team spent nearly a full year apart due to the pandemic. Roster selections for the SheBelieves Cup — which will feature matches among the U.S., Canada, Japan and Brazil from Feb. 18-24 — will be made based on this camp.
This is the first call-up for Listro, a player who grew up through the Canadian youth system but fell out of the talent pool following college.
