The Orlando Pride waived backup goalkeeper Haley Kopmeyer on Monday after two seasons with the club.
Kopmeyer joined the club in 2018 when she was traded by Reign FC. The keeper notched one shutout and 61 saves during her two seasons with the Pride.
Although she served as a backup to captain Ashlyn Harris for her two seasons in Orlando, Kopmeyer was called on extensively during Harris’ absences for national team duty. She earned 10 of her 13 appearances for the club in the 2019 season, winning four NWSL Save of the Week awards this year.
Before joining the Pride, Kopmeyer played for five seasons with Reign FC.
