The Orlando Pride returned home after a brutal stretch of games, hoping to get in the win column. Things didn’t exactly turn out that way as the Pride suffered their third loss out of four matches to start the season — all by shutouts.
Marc Skinner’s team did have some opportunities in the match against the Utah Royals but there wasn’t quite enough quality in the final third against a strong defensive-minded Utah side. Christen Press was the only player to find the net on the evening and the Royals got their first win in the series.
