Natasha Dowie scored the game winner on her debut for the Boston Breakers, as the team took down the Orlando Pride, 1-0, in Boston. The win was only the second of the season for the Breakers, who still sit at the bottom of the NWSL with seven points. The loss does nothing for the Pride, who stay in seventh place, two points behind the Seattle Reign.
Missing stars Alex Morgan, Ashlyn Harris and four others due to the Olympics, plus the injured Sarah Hagen (concussion), the Pride fell behind after just 10 minutes.
