The 27-year-old previously played two seasons — 2017 and 2019 — with the Washington Spirit. She also played for Medkila IL in the Norwegian top flight and Valur in Iceland. She most recently played in Australia for the Perth Glory ahead of the 2020 NWSL season, scoring two goals in 10 matches.
After playing two seasons for Notre Dame, Thomas transferred to Georgetown University for her final two seasons of eligibility. She scored 19 goals and added eight assists with the Hoyas.
Thomas will add needed depth to the forward unit, which currently features three other natural strikers — Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux and Marta.
