The Orlando Pride added depth to their backline Thursday with the signing of defender Ally Haran to a one-year contract.
Haran has been with the Pride for over a year, first joining the team as a preseason invitee ahead of the 2020 season. After training with the team throughout the pandemic shutdown, Haran signed a short-term contract for the Fall Series.
She played in two Pride matches, scoring the tying goal in the waning minutes of the team’s final match against the North Carolina Courage to complete a three-goal comeback for a 3-3 draw.
Haran previously played with the Houston Dash and the North Carolina Courage, but she hadn’t debuted in an NWSL match until the Fall Series.
