The Orlando Pride scored their first road win of the season, earning a 1-0 victory over the Houston Dash Friday night at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Orlando's Lianne Sanderson delivered a cross to Kristen Edmonds just outside the box in the 81st minute. Edmonds fired the ball off the inside of the crossbar and into the net for game winner.
It was the first goal of Edmonds' National Women's Soccer League career and comes one game after she set up Alex Morgan for the game winner against the Western New York Flash.
"It was a great pass from Li," Edmonds said.
