The match will mark the team’s first opportunity to compete in the tournament after withdrawing due to COVID-19 concerns last year. Although the team played four friendlies in the NWSL Fall Series, this will be the first competitive match for the Pride since the 2019 season.
Following the opening game, the Pride will return to Orlando for the next two matches of the tournament, hosting Sky Blue FC April 14 and the Washington Spirit April 21. Both games will kick off at 7 p.m. ET. The club has not yet announced ticket sales for the tournament.
The Pride will complete the tournament with a road match against the North Carolina Courage May 1.
