The midfielder went from a non-rostered invitee to a contracted Pride player to a Canadian starter for the SheBelieves Cup in less than 12 months.
“I adopted this personality that I want to be the hardest worker in the room and on the field,” Listro said. “And in order to perform my best, I need to have that mentality every single day. ... That’s what I’m hoping I can bring this year.”
As a youth player, Listro followed the formula to become a national team player — moving her way up through the development teams and competing in the 2012 U-17 World Cup.
