The Orlando Pride learned Thursday its inaugural National Women’s Soccer League schedule.
Orlando will play three of its first five games at home in May and will enjoy a home stretch of four straight games at the Citrus Bowl from June 23 through July 16.
The schedule also includes a tough stretch of four straight road games from May 20 through June 18, including trips to Houston, Kansas City, Western New York and Washington D.C.
“This is an incredible moment we’ve all been waiting for,” Pride coach Tom Sermanni said in a statement. “A lot of work has already taken place to get where we are, and we are eager for the players’ arrival in a few weeks to start training for this once in a lifetime opportunity to start a professional women’s team from the ground up.
