The Orlando Pride will compete in the Eastern Division for the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup, the team’s first run at the tournament after having to sit out last year with COVID-19 cases.
The 21-game tournament begins April 9 at 8:30 p.m. with a match between the reigning champion Houston Dash and runner-up Chicago Red Stars. The full schedule will be announced March 9, culminating with a May 8 final between the top team in each division.
Joining the Pride in the Eastern Division are the North Carolina Courage, Washington Spirit, Sky Blue FC and new expansion team Racing Louisville FC.
