The Orlando Pride are too competitive to call posting a 5-6-0 record and sitting in fifth place midway through their inaugural National Women's Soccer League season a success.
"Initially, it was really impressive," Pride defender Laura Alleway said. "We won some games, even away from home we won a game. We seemed to be meshing really well and it seemed to be smooth sailing. And then we hit a turn in the road and started to battle a little. We had three losses in a row, which wasn't great.
"I think we're starting to turn the tables around again.
