ORLANDO, Fla. (June 30, 2019) - Orlando Pride (1-8-2, 5 points) fell 3-2 to the Chicago Red Stars on Sunday night at Exploria Stadium. Chioma Ubogagu and Marta scored the two goals for the Pride on the evening, but a Sam Kerr hat trick sent Chicago home with three points.
Orlando Pride Head Coach Marc Skinner:
“We can’t give away the goals that we’ve given away and win a game. We have again a third game consecutively scored two goals and still lost the game, it’s not acceptable. Results wise its not acceptable...But again I just thought that we’ve huffed and puffed, had more possession control at times, but we can’t give away the goals that we’ve given away.
