The 2017 National Women’s Soccer League season is over, and many players are heading overseas to compete in other leagues during the offseason.
The Orlando Pride announced three players who will be loaned to Australia’s Westfield W-League during the offseason — defenders Steph Catley and Toni Pressley and forward Rachel Hill.
Catley, 23, an Australian national team player, will return to her country’s reigning champion Melbourne City for the third consecutive season.
Pressley, 27, and Hill, 22, will play their first seasons in the league with Canberra United and Perth Glory, respectively.
Australian international Alanna Kennedy also will join Melbourne City but has not yet been announced by the Pride because of incomplete paperwork.
