Following yesterday's announcements of the NWSL opening matches, the league issued its full 2016 schedule today.The Orlando Pride opens its schedule April 17 at Portland and concludes the team's inaugural regular season on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. against FC Kansas City.
"This is an incredible moment we've all been waiting for," said Pride Head Coach Tom Sermanni in a club press release. "A lot of work has already taken place to get where we are, and we are eager for the players' arrival in a few weeks to start training for this once in a lifetime opportunity to start a professional women's team from the ground up.
