Orlando Copa game still scheduled for tonight despite Tropical Storm Colin

The Copa América Centenario match between Panama and Bolivia scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday is scheduled to proceed as planned for now.

Tropical storm Collin is gaining speed as it inches closer to Florida. The projected path is north of Orlando, but the area still is expected to see heavy rain and lightning.

Gov. Rick Scott declared a state of emergency for 34 counties, including most of Central Florida.

A spokesman for Copa América in Orlando said city and tournament officials are keeping an eye on the storm as it progresses and will make decisions based on player safety closer to kickoff.
