Orlando City's 2016 player salaries released by MLS Players Union

Orlando City team captain Kaká remains the highest-paid player in MLS, edging 2015 league MVP Sebastian Giovinco of Toronto FC by about $52,000.

The MLS Players Union released the 2016 salaries Thursday, and Kaká's pay remained static from last year at $6.66 million in base salary, with bonuses raising that number to $7.167 million guaranteed per year. Giovinco comes in at $5.6 million base and $7,115,555.36 guaranteed.
