Orlando City vs. Revolution Game Ends in Controversy, Draw

Orlando City (2-1-3) and the New England Revolution (1-1-5) played out to a 2-2 draw on Sunday in front of 36,000 purple clad fans. The result was probably a fair one as both teams dominated play for certain spells of the match, but that won’t satisfy fans of either team as they both will feel hard done by game-changing refereeing decisions.

The Lion’s starting eleven featured some new faces as former Revolution player, Kevin Alston, Julio “The Beast” Baptista and Colombian speedster, Carlos Rivas all earned their first starts of the season, in place of Rafael Ramos, Cyle Larin, and Kevin Molino.
