The first team plane touched down in Orlando on Wednesday, signalling the official start of the return of Major League Soccer as the league prepares for the MLS Is Back tournament.
The San Jose Earthquakes arrived in Orlando on Wednesday night, passing through screening before becoming the first team to enter the quarantined “bubble” at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
Orlando City will enter the bubble at Disney on Thursday, setting up in the Swan and Dolphin Resort and beginning its final stage of training ahead of its first match. For coach Oscar Pareja, the return of soccer couldn’t come soon enough.
