Orlando City announced this afternoon that the club has agreed to transfer midfielder Yoshimar Yotún to Liga MX club Cruz Azul for an undisclosed amount. Jordan Culver of ProSoccerUSA.com reported that a league source indicated the transfer is worth $4 million.
The 28-year-old Peruvian international joined Orlando City on Aug. 4, 2017 and quickly became a key part of the Lions midfield. During his two seasons in Orlando, Yotún made 32 appearances, recording 2,857 minutes with five goals and 14 assists. He was named to the MLS All-Star team in 2018.
