Orlando City tops Toronto 3-2 at Exploria Stadium on Urso’s winner in 84th minute

Orlando City roared back into action on Saturday with a 3-2 victory over Toronto FC, muscling through a somewhat messy first half to finish the fourth win of the season for the Lions.

After both sides traded punches in the first half, midfielder Júnior Urso smashed home the game-winning goal in the 84th minute, exchanging passes with Chris Mueller to pick apart the Reds’ defense in the box at Exploria Stadium.

With the victory, the Lions (4-1-3, 15) returned to the second overall spot in the Eastern Conference rankings, surpassing the Philadelphia Union by a point.

The match was a return to abnormality for the Lions as they played in a nearly empty stadium on their own home pitch.
