Orlando City will host the New England Revolution Sunday in the Eastern conference semifinal match. The contest will kick off at 3 p.m. and air nationally on ABC.
New England beat Montreal in the play-in round, then upset the Philadelphia Union on Tuesday to advance to face the Lions. The Union were the clear favorite entering the match after winning the Supporters Shield, which is awarded to the MLS team that earns the most regular season points. Philadelphia coach Jim Curtin also beat Orlando City’s Oscar Pareja for Coach of the Year honors.
The Revolution, however, were hungry and dominated the game with early goals from Adam Buksa and Tajon Buchanan.
