MONTREAL — Last week, Jason Kreis said he saw signs that things may begin to fall into place for Orlando City. The same day, defender Luke Boden said the team needed a little bit of luck.
Both happened for the Lions (7-7-13, 34 points) Wednesday night as they took down the Montreal Impact (9-8-10, 37 points) at Stade Saputo without two of their leading scorers to slash the Impact’s points lead in half and rise above the payoff cutline in the East.
“I’m pleased,” Orlando City coach Jason Kreis said. “Pleased to win two in a row with these guys.
