Orlando City officials on Sunday said striker Stéfano Pinho has already begun treatment for an injured right ankle, but did not have a timeline for when he could return.
The club will run tests after the swelling in Pinho’s ankle has reduced.
Pinho sustained the injury in the first half of the Lions’ 2-1 loss to Minnesota United.
Pinho tried to head home a cross from left back Mohamed El-Munir and was followed closely by Minnesota United captain Francisco Calvo. Pinho went down holding his ankle after contact in the penalty area and had to be stretchered off the pitch.
