Everyone knew Cyle Larin was good.
The Canadian striker was the No. 1 pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. He went on to win Rookie of the Year that season with Orlando City. He avoided a sophomore slump last year, scoring 14 goals compared to 17 his first year.
And now, he’s returned this season more fit than ever and on pace to score more goals. He is showing he can play in different ways, including with a partner up top, working alongside Carlos Rivas.
Larin continued to showcase his ever-growing skill set when the Lions defeated NYCFC 2-1 at Yankee Stadium Sunday.
