ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 27, 2018) - Orlando City SC has acquired $50,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) for the 2019 season from Columbus Crew SC in exchange for the rights to goalkeeper Joe Bendik.
Following the conclusion of the 2018 Major League Soccer (MLS) season, City did not exercise Bendik’s option but the Club retains his rights through the end of the calendar year.
Bendik, 29, was acquired by the Lions in December 2015. Over three seasons in Orlando, the Georgia native played in 92 MLS matches, totaling 316 saves and 13 shutouts.
